Televes GPON ONT/ ONU

A gigabit passive optical network (GPON) is currently the leading form of Passive Optical Networks. GPON is a point-to-multipoint access network. It uses passive splitters in the fibre distribution network, enabling one single fibre connection to serve multiple end-users.

Televes Optical Line Termination (OLT) is a headend that distributes IP services over optical fiber using the GPON network and technology. It is in charge of managing and adapting the services to the subscribers’ profiles and their devices, allowing the distribution and commercialization of Quad Play signals (Internet, TV, telephony, etc).

The Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is a customer premises equipment (CPE) in charge of delivering the services at the subscriber’s room.
This Room type ONT provides 4 GbE Ethernet/PoE ports, 2 FXS ports, 2 USB ports and RF Overlay.

Specifically designed for the residential environment, OLT512 can serve up to 512 subscribers with total rates of 2.5 Gbps/1.24 Gbps (downstream/upstream) on each GPON port.
